Terowie to Menindee Lakes
The stay at Terowie was very peaceful and the history of the old twin gauge railways was amazing.

Then it was off to Broken Hill so we could service the car and also get our windscreen replaced. We suffered a rock from a road-train just as we started our Nullarbor crossing and Broken Hill was the first place we could get it replaced.
This was supposed to take half a day plus overnight for the glue to dry. We were picked up the next morning and taken back to Toyota, where they informed us that the new windscreen had a big scratch in it. It certainly was big, and right through my line of vision. The choices were, have this scratched screen for free or to getthe car back with another screen fitted at 4pm. So we opted for the 4pm new screen while Jayne had her broken tooth attended to at the Dentist.
At 5pm we were told that something had occurred during the fitting of the windscreen and they couldn't get the warning lights to stop flashing! So we couldn't have the car back that night. At this point they gave us a "loan car", so we could do our shopping etc.
The next morning we were informed the warning flashers stopped themselves and we were right to go.
So at 11am we headed of to Menindee Lakes, lucky its only 110kms from Broken Hill.

Today we continue east most probably to Wilcannia, a very notorious Aboriginal town where there is supposed to be a new nice caravan park on the banks of the river.
