Before we left the Grampians we had a red champagne breakfast with bacon and eggs. Which was very nice, but it reconfirmed that red wine doesn't mix with me. It wasn't pretty afterwards. This is apparently the "thing" to do with Barossa bubbly red wine. Never again for me!
The Kelpie Muster was just fantastic and Jayne appreciated the whole weekend, she thought it was a great birthday location. What a romantic guy I am!
I bought Jayne a Kelpie Pup for her birthday as well. He was called "Canon" then "Cassie", but Jayne thought that wasn't right for a boy. So at present he's un-named.
Roy and Marg joined us, which was a good addition to our time with them.
The highlight of the Muster was watching the dogs work with the sheep. Roy also liked this being an ex-sheep farmer.
The Kelpie High Jump was also very good. Those dogs can jump over 2.9m, that's the 2006 record. This year it was around 2.5m.
The "Street Parade", it certainly was something different and special.
